Sorry for the silence, but we're away with family this week and it's all been a bit of a blur of catch-ups, snatched meetings with old school friends, and a lot of lazing in the sunshine. My mum and step-dad live on a narrow boat so we jumped at the chance to take it for a spin (a very very slow spin, but still). The boy loved it. He did not, however, enjoy the life jacket.
So this was a weekend of firsts. I drove on the motorway, and I drove a narrow boat. The boat was easier. We also got to meet this little lady, who has taken a special place in my family. She's every bit as scrummy as she looks.
Despite the busy week, I managed to find the time to blog about my love of the american diner, despite never having set foot in one, and how Twin Peaks shaped my formative years. Yes, I blame you David Lynch.
I hope for normal service to resume shortly, but in the meantime please keep checking the Lori and the Caravan shop, new stock coming very soon and I might just have something very special up my sleeve this week ... I'm on Facebook and Instagram, so come on over and say hi!
I'll leave you with this, my new aspirational look, discovered in a old Vogue. One day, dear readers, one day.
