Yesterday I wrote about our picnic in a wood suffused with bluebells, and I think I must have come over all dizzy with the romanticism of it all, because I've had picnic lunches every day since. Eating indoors, what a bore, y'know? Looking back at the pictures of our little woodland idyll (it's also the spot where I married my beau, so it's an extra special place in every possible way), I found my mind wandering to this dress, for this is a gown fit for a stroll through a carpet of bluebells, a wreath of flowers perched atop your head.
The dress is originally a petticoat, but doubles as a light summer dress. It's from the 1920's, and considering it's age is in a fine condition. Gather some flowers from the garden, and embrace the change in the season as summer takes hold!
The dress, approx. age 6-7 (but please do check the measurements for accurate sizing), is available to buy in the Lori and the Caravan shop for just £20.
