Yesterday we were lucky enough to have a picnic in the woods at my in-law's house. A thick carpet of bluebells greeted us as we passed beneath the trees, and the sun shone down on us picnickers. Imagine being here.
Today was Garland Day in my little town, a special May Day celebration. We climbed the hill to see the children parade with the Morris dancers, their hair wreathed in flowers.
Another beautiful day heralding the start of summer. What shall we do tomorrow, if our day isn't bathed in blooms?
