A real classic here today on the blog. Meet the Fisher Price Snoopy Sniffer Pull-along Dog! First released in the late 1930s, and then re-released in the 1950s and 60s, this little chap is from the final 1961 release. Snoopy still has his original red vinyl lead, and soft felt ears.
Now Snoopy is showing a few signs of love. He is a little play-worn, hence the bargain price for such a collectible gem. But I like that. I like that he wasn't just put on a high shelf to be stared at in frustration by a groovy little one in the 1960s. I like that he was a favourite, that he meant something to someone. I like that he could mean something to a little one all over again. Also, my kid thought he was hilarious. So hilarious that Snoopy lives upstairs, away from the toy box. I feel like a terrible mother. Please buy Snoopy so I can stop feeling this way. Consider it a public service, just one that only effects, well, me.
Snoopy is available to buy in the shop for just £15. Take a peek.
