You might have noticed things have been a teensy bit quiet here at Lori and the Caravan this week. With moving, working, endless DIY-ing, and the general to-ing and fro-ing of everyday life, I've been feeling rather frazzled recently. So I decided, for one week only, to take a step back from everything other than the things I really had to do (or really wanted to do) and take some time to regroup. It's a technique I've gradually picked up over the years as I've come to terms with the person I am. Sometimes I'm especially anxious, but that's ok. Sometimes I become overwrought at alarming speed, but that's ok. The important thing is that I know what to do when the thoughts in my head start to feel all of a muddle Take a deep breath, take some time out, and everything will pass in it's own time. :
So this week we've done a lot of walking and exploring around and about the little country lanes in our new area. We've seen donkeys, and horses, guinea fowl, and a LOT of sheep. I think this boy is going to grow into a real animal lover (actually he's halfway there already). We watched the sun set over the Weald, and it was so beautiful I had to rush inside and fetch the camera.
On a clear day we can see the sea!
By the end of the week I had decided that a decisive action was needed in my hunt for a more positive outlook, so I booked myself an appointment and had my hair chopped! I LOVE it.
So next week Lori and the Caravan is well and truly BACK, with new stock, a giveaway (thank you sooooo much for getting me to 500 'Likes' on Facebook!), and blog post galore!
