Now I might have mentioned it a few times this week, but I'm not actually at my computer right now. I'm down in Brighton at the Corn Exchange, selling my lovely vintage wares. So if you have the time or the inclination then shut down your computer (once you've finished reading this, obviously) and head on down to the coast. If you're wondering what on earth has happened to the Lori and the Caravan online shop, have no fear, it'll be back online tomorrow (with some amazing new pieces coming very soon). I feel like I've neglected the shop a bit, with the house move and the general craziness of life of late. Once everything is hunky dory I'll be straight back to business with vintage treasure galore. I bet you can't wait.
So this was a week full of working hard. I perhaps hadn't anticipated quite how difficult it would be to work in a space currently shared by a good few people, but it somehow miraculously came together without too much upheaval. We managed to squeeze in another trip to our local animal rescue centre Raystede, explore a bit more of our local area, help excavate a WWII bunker at the top of the farm we live on (I know!), and explore nursery possibilities for the boy (the thought of leaving him with someone I don't really know makes my heart ache, but I'm getting there).
My Vintage item of the week is one for the boys! To be completely honest I would totally put this shirt on a girl too, but as there's so little vintage for little guys let's celebrate this gorgeous 1950's shirt! Age 2-3, the shirt is just £12 in the Lori and the Caravan shop. I also have lot's more for sale at the Brighton Vintage Fair right now! So that's it, just a short post for today. You've done it. Time to head down to the Sussex coast. To Brighton!
